Knowledge of the Gifts of the Spirit and Their Usage

When it comes to the Gifts of the Spirit we shouldn't base our understanding of them on experience or just what we have been told. God is not shrouded in mystery and he is not something that cannot be know. God makes himself known to the believer in his word so that we can know. Because God has made himself known we can also know how he works. Paul says that we are to gain this knowledge so that we are not deceived and led astray.
