God Identifies Who We Are

Text: James 1:9–18

Big Idea of the Message: Our true Identity is eternal and not found in the things of this world.

Application Point: The world is fighting to tell us how we are to shape our own identities. Every one of those paths leads to disappointment and lack of fulfillment. Christ when he came and died for us, he granted us the ability to forsake our flesh and follow our true calling and redemption back to the creation that we were intended to be.
